All dick-in-a-box joking aside, seriously, I hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas and a great long weekend and so forth.
2006 has been a pretty decent year I think, and I’m looking forward to ringing what I hope will be an even better 2007!

Ok, so this has nothing to do with Christmas or New Years, but the Tower Records by us was closing, so we went to go check it out. Among the gems we picked up for $1.50 were the best of Fat Boy Slim, the Best of Ice Cube and ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT! Do remember that shizz? We had to buy it of course, and we were listening to Mr. Windell before we left the parking lot! Wow, we are old–the CDs we loved in high school were totally in the bargain bin. Bummer.

Nice. Yes I have fond memories of that A.D. record.
And, yes, we are old.
It’s too bad about Tower. It’s not just the one by you… they’re all closing down. The company is done. They were the last of the decent record chains, and now you’re left with fricking WalMart and Target if you don’t have a good local joint.
Thank god for Ella Guru and Criminal Records… without them, I’d be lost.
